Jennifer Allison worked as an academic law librarian for 15 years, including 10 years at the Harvard Law School Library, prior to starting her freelance editing and indexing business, Manuscript Spa, in 2023. She earned a B.A. in English and German from Pacific Lutheran University, a Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.S.) from San Jose State University, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Pepperdine Law School, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in German law from the University of Würzburg in Germany.
