The American Society for Indexing (ASI) is seeking an administrator for our new indexing training course. This is a new role that will lead the launch, implementation, and continued management of the program. Ideal candidates should have technology proficiency, specifically Moodle knowledge, and indexing experience.
Job Responsibilities
After the launch of the new program is complete, ongoing responsibilities include:
- Tracking students registration, enrollment, and course progress
- Reporting course statistics to the ASI Board of Directors
- Recruiting, training, and evaluating instructors
- Handling instructor invoices
- Maintaining course site
- Maintaining course materials
- Responding to general course questions
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Professional indexing experience
- Proficient knowledge of Moodle and a general aptitude for technology
Additional Information
- Course administrator is a yearly contract position that reports to the ASI Board of Directors
- Training will be provided
