Freelance indexing has been my fulltime occupation for over 25 years. In that time, I have indexed over 700 books on topics as diverse as community development financial institutions, sport nutrition, Vichy France, dairy management, goddess worship in western China, and K-12 science and math textbooks. I love the variety in my work!
I have undergraduate degrees in history and agriculture, as well as an advanced degree in soil chemistry. Before becoming a fulltime indexer, I worked in environmental remediation in both research and field consultation capacities, working with academics, government regulators, industry, and as an expert witness.
I strive to make my indexes accurate and thorough while still looking clean and easy to read. I pay attention to deadlines and space limitations. I am easy to work with and my rates are reasonable. Please contact me to discuss your indexing needs.
