I provide high-quality back-of-book indexes across a range of subjects, with a special interest in science, particularly earth science, chemistry, and environment and sustainability. I also enjoy working on topics related to fitness and food, and given my scientific training, have an interest in indexing manuals (lab equipment is fun!).

I hold BS and MS degrees in chemistry and a PhD in earth and environmental sciences (i.e., geology), as well as a certificate in back-of-book indexing from ASI. I spent 7 years in academia post-PhD as a researcher, educator, editor, and project manager before turning to freelance work in 2021.

I have always been an avid learner and enjoy taking on new challenges, including in my free time. I have completed several triathlons and an open-water swim race, and have more than 20 years of martial arts experience. I also enjoy traveling and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in South Africa.

I am highly reliable and meticulous in my approach to just about everything—I don’t do anything halfway! As an indexer, my client comes first. I am here to support each author and their work, so that both can shine as brightly as possible.
