I love making great ideas accessible through indexes. I index books with accuracy and thoroughness. I do not write or edit books – I work collaboratively to support those who do.

I have samples of completed indexes on my website. If you need an index for a different type of book – let me know! I may have indexes or portions of indexes I can share to demonstrate my skills in your area.

I have an MLIS and an undergraduate degree in Classics. Early in my career I worked in the medical field, but moved into the cultural heritage sector as a conservator of library and archival collections. Now I work as an indexer.

I am an indexing generalist who wants to make the great ideas authors have easy to find. I love leveraging my professional experience with books, the arts, and crafts along with my personal interests in the cookbooks, gardening, house projects, and animals. Above all I want readers to find what they are looking for.

I’ve trained in indexing through UC Berkeley Extension and Library Juice Academy. I’m active in the American Society for Indexing and am a member of several special interest groups. I’m also a member of the Publishing Professionals Network and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
