I started my publishing career as an in-house indexer over 30 years ago; I’ve been a full-time freelancer since 2016. I primarily work on political science, religious studies (including scripture indexes), computer, travel, business, and education-related books and materials, for both trade and scholarly audiences. I have extensive experience with both back-of-the-book (PDF or hard copy) and embedded indexing methods, including Word, InDesign, HTML, ASCIIdoc, and the Cambridge University Press (CUP) process. My B.A. is in political science, my master’s degree is in library science, and I also have a certificate in Jewish studies, all from Indiana University. I would love to craft an excellent index for you on your next book project!
