Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise
Photo Compliments of the Chicago Architecture Foundation
Rated as the top tour in Chicago and one of the top ten tours in the United States, the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) River Cruise takes you on a pleasant trip along the city's famed waterway, while experienced guides interpret more than 50 buildings along the Chicago River. You'll find out how Chicago grew from a small settlement to one of the world's largest cities, learn about different architectural styles and schools, and appreciate the relationship between river and land.
A partnership between CAF and First Lady Cruises, the boats hold up to 200 passengers, and feature both open and closed decks, full-service bars, and upscale marble and granite restrooms. Chicago has long been a center of innovative and experimental architecture, so this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in a comfortable setting.
The Boat Tour will be held the morning of Sunday, June 19, the day after the conference closes, at 9:30am. The tour is 1.5 hours. The tour will proceed rain or shine, and we are not able to offer any refunds.
