The American Society for Indexing is seeking an editor for its quarterly journal, Key Words. Key Words is the premier resource for indexing professionals in the United States. The editor will be responsible for planning the content for each issue, soliciting contributions, editing and proofreading copy, and supervising the layout production.

You can help us grow! ASI is seeking new members to join our association, and as a current ASI member, you can benefit. When you refer an indexer to ASI and that person joins the organization, you are eligible for one of two free gifts from ASI.
For many indexers, work is solitary. You spend time with your current project then move on to the next one. You face both indexing and business challenges on your own, and some days you yearn for workmates—even if it’s for a short chat. At those times, it helps to connect with other indexers.
