Looking to advertise your services effectively? Want to support ASI? The sponsorship and exhibition opportunities listed below are great ways to do both. Whether you are an individual indexer aiming for a unique networking opportunity, a supplier who counts indexers among your customers, or a publisher who is always looking for good indexers, the ASI annual conference is the premier event in the indexer year, and the best way to reach lots of indexers at the same time. Or maybe you are an indexing organization or individual who just wants to show your support for ASI and help make the conference as successful as possible. Bag Stuffers, $100.00. Send us your literature or other advertising materials (pens, cards, bookmarks, etc.) and we’ll include them in every conference attendee’s bag.
Nametags for Conference Attendees, $150.00. Your sponsorship will be gratefully noted on the bottom of each attendee’s nametag.
Exhibition Tables, $200.00. Rent an exhibition table and put on your own show! Tables will be set up in the same (lockable) room as the conference admissions and consultation station and the ITI exhibit. Past exhibitors have included software dealers, booksellers, training program managers, and chapters and SIGs of ASI selling t-shirts, hats, and bumper stickers.
Break sponsorships, $250.00. Indexers like their snacks, and we really want to provide high-quality and plentiful break food and beverages in Charleston. Sponsor a break and we’ll prominently display your name or organization next to the goodies!
Session sponsorships, $300.00. Have a look at the Conference program (https://www.asindexing.org/2014-asi-annual-conference/program-2014/). Is there a session that’s particularly germane to you or your organization? Funds donated for this purpose will help allay the A/V costs of the session and allow us to continue providing the best programs we can manage. This is an excellent opportunity for SIGs to sponsor an event directly related to their special interest.
Reception sponsorships, $500.00. Receptions are a great way for indexers to network, exchanging ideas and swapping techniques. We’ll have several receptions at this year’s conference and sponsors will have their names or organizations displayed at the event.
Tours, $500.00. We’ll be running a tour the day after the conference. These are good opportunities for networking, and also give indexers an extra incentive to come to the conference. The tour will cover historic Charleston and its buildings and gardens. Sponsors of tours will be advertised in all tour literature and on the tour itself. We’ve not set the tours yet, so this is a great opportunity for a SIG to sponsor an event related to its specific interest, for a local chapter to celebrate its heritage, or a vendor to give existing clients and potential customers a special treat.
