I am a freelance indexer seeking additional clients. I received my training through the UC Berkeley Extension course, Indexing: Theory and Application; and through the ASI online indexing course. I have worked with textbooks for grades 6-12, cookbooks, general how-to books, and other instructional material. I also have experience as an adult education instructor at NMSU Grants, NM. My areas of interest include, but are not limited to: mathematics; bookkeeping and accounting; health and nutrition; English and grammar; cooking; animals and pets; gardening and plants; arts and crafts; hobbies; and house and home. As an avid reader of nonfiction books, I understand how a good index enhances the value and usefulness of a book. It is my desire to create an index that properly represents the author’s work and is user-friendly for the reader. My rates are reasonable, and my schedule is flexible.
